President Muhammadu Buhari has received a gigantic Christmas card from the Aso Rock Chaplain Seyi Malomo, Minister of FCT Mallam Muhammad Musa Bello, FCT CAN President Rev Jonah Samson and Senator Philip Aduda.

The president received the card as Abuja residents, ministers and religious leaders paid a Christmas day homage at the State House on Wednesday, December 25.

President Buhari also received the Catholic Archbishop of Abuja, Archbishop Ignatius Kaigama during Christmas day Homage.

The photos were shared on Facebook by the special adviser on media and publicity to the president, Femi Adesina.

Buhari, while receiving residents of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, led by the FCT minister, declared 2019 as a very successful year for Nigeria.

Legit.ng reported that he thanked Nigerians for believing in him and supporting his administration to take Nigeria to the Next Level.

‘‘We thank God. It has been a very successful year, relative to the composition of this country, both politically and ethnically,’’ he said.

According to the president, his administration would continue to do the utmost best to effectively utilise national resources to rebuild the country.

He noted that the federal government had recorded sustainable progress in mobilising resources to rebuild infrastructure across the country in the last four years.

Meanwhile, President Buhari earlier sent a Christmas message to Nigerians. In his goodwill message, Buhari urged all citizens of the country to uphold love and peaceful co-existence which characterise the essence of the season.

He specifically warned criminals, terrorists and armed gangs to steer clear and caution themselves as security operatives will be on guard to deal with anyone who tries to disrupt calm and order during and beyond the season.
