Natalia Escudero, a Spanish TV reporter, quit her job while on air after she won a lottery, only to realise that the money she won was actually smaller than her expectation.

The RTVE newswoman quickly tendered an apology to her viewers after learning the €4 million (N1,602,609,030) was actually €5,000 (N2,003,369.74), Daily Mail reports.

The funniest of it all happened when she told her colleagues she would not be turning up for work the next day.
