FG's 2020/2021 scholarship for post, undergraduates studies commences
Nigerians who aspire to study abroad can now give their dream a chance as the federal government on Wednesday, October 30, announced the opening of its portal.
According to Malam Adamu Adamu, the minister of education, interested Nigerians who desires to study abroad can now apply for a federal government scholarship.
Hence, the portal has been opened for commencement of registration for the 2020/2021 Computer Based Test (CBT). The minister said this in Abuja, on Wednesday, October 30.
The minister said the scholarship which comes under the Ministry’s Bilateral Education Agreement is for undergraduate and post graduate studies.
Undergraduate scholarship awards will be obtainable in the following fields
1. Engineering
2. Agriculture
3. Sciences
4.Mathematics
5. Languages
6. Environmental Sciences
7. Sports
8. Law
9.Social Sciences
10.Biotechnology
11. Architecture
12. Medicine (with very limited space).

1. Russia
2. Morocco
3. Algeria
4. Serbia
5. Hungary
6. Egypt
7.Tunisia
8. Turkey
9. Cuba
10.Romania
11. Japan
12, Macedonia
Eligibility for undergraduate scholarship
(As and Bs) in Senior Secondary School certificates in the subjects relevant to their fields of study, including Mathematics and English language.
Age limit for undergraduate scholarship
18-20 years
Here are countries where the post graduate scholarships scholarships are obtainable.
1. China
2. Hungary
3. Serbia
4. Turkey,
5. Japan
6. Mexico
7. South Korea
8.Russia (for students whose first degrees are from Russian Universities)
Note
Master’s degree and PhD are free to apply for all fields of study.
Eligibility for post graduate scholarship
1st Class or 2nd Class Upper Division.

The scholarship is also obtainable in Nigerian universities.
