His goal however took his tally in the Spanish League to 420 goals - beating Cristiano Ronaldo's record of 419 goals scored in Europe's 'top five' leagues - Spain, England, Germany, Italy and France.
The Portuguese forward held the record in Europe's top five leagues with 419 goals before his arch rival opened a one goal gap.
