- Kurt Zouma has come under attack for his unfortunate own goal against Sheffield United
- Chelsea surrendered a two-goal lead as the Blades forced a draw from Zouma with two minutes left to play
- Manager Frank Lampard has called for drastic action from social media platforms to stamp out the abuse
Kurt Zouma is the latest player that has come under racist attacks on social media after Chelsea's 2-2 draw with Sheffield United at Stamford Bridge.
And Blues boss Frank Lampard has hit out on social media platforms after the Frenchman became the second Chelsea player after Tammy Abraham to be racially abused.
The French center-back was unfortunate when he blocked a cross heading towards goal into the back of his own net with two minutes left to play.

And it did not goal down well with Chelsea fans who were left furious after their team surrendered a two-goal lead to force a draw.
Many fans posted racists tweets against Zouma just like Abraham was abused shortly after the Super Cup final loss to Liverpool.
But Lampard has demanded social media bosses take action.

“I am probably going over the ground I did with Tammy before,” he said after hearing about comments towards Zouma.
“Firstly it is a person that does it, wherever they are hiding from, and secondly we have to look at social media and the platforms and give them some accountability to actually have people register who can be chased down for it.
“I think it is simple, until we get to that, and no matter how horrible that conversation is, we get tired talking about it.
“Until there is some culpability, anyone can say anything to anyone. It’s not just racism, it could be calling them names, homophobia, sexism, it could be anything.
“If we allow it, then unfortunately in modern society it is out there and it has to be dealt with.”
Lampard also confirmed that Chelsea are set to meet with social media platforms to help curb abuse on social media.
“I think we have plans to do that,” he said.
“Everyone knows with how I speak and the way the club act consistently where we want to go with it. Any player, we are clear about that.”
