US actor Jamie Foxx shows off his attempt of the 'Gwara Gwara'

American actor, Jamie Foxx, shared a video on social media showing him trying to do the popular South African dance, the 'Gwara Gwara'. His attempt was met with a mixed response - not everyone thought he nailed it.

The Gwara Gwara dance is a wildly popular one but that doesn't mean it's easy to pull off. Like the Vosho, another SA dance, many just end up looking silly or stupid when trying to show off the dance skills.

The well-known American actor recently tried it and had his followers divided - some thought he was doing great, others could only applaud his effort, not his execution.

Jamie said he only dances under certain conditions, such as when he watched the opening of his new film Coming To America 2, which also stars South African actress, Nomzamo Mbatha.

The dance, which started in SA by DJ Bongz, involves moving your legs and almost looking like you've unhinged yourself. It's fun to try though.

Meanwhile, Nollywood actress, Mercy Johnson Okojie clocked 35 on August 28 and shared a cute video clip of she and her husband, Prince Odi, dancing romantically.

The duo were captured at an event having a fun moment as they looked like two teenagers who just fell in love.
