NDLEA recruitment: 15 key requirements you need to be eligible
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has announced the commencement of recruitment into the agency for interested Nigerians.
The recruitment is open in two categories: Narcotic Officer Cadre and Narcotic Assistant (Nass) Cadre.
Here are the key requirements required to be eligible for the vacant positions.
Narcotic Officer Cadre
1. Candidate applying for Narcotic Officer Cadre shall be of age not less than Twenty two (22) years and not more than Thirty (30) years.
2. Candidate applying for Narcotic Officer Cadre must possess a minimum of first degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) from an institution of higher Learning recognised by the Federal Ministry of Education
3. The candidate applying as Lawyer and Doctor must in addition to the first degree possess Professional Certificate in the relevant field.
Narcotic Assistant (Nass) Cadre
4. Candidates applying for recruitment into the service for the rank of Narcotic Assistant (NASS) shall be of age not less than Eighteen (18) years and not more than Thirty (30) years of age
5. Candidates applying for the rank of Narcotic Assistant (NASS) must have completed Secondary School
The general requirements
6. All applicants must fill in the application form provided on the website, upload passport and print out the application slip which would be used throughout the process of the recruitment.
7. Candidates shall be literate and must possess such educational qualifications as specified below for the position
8. A shortlisted candidate must be certified physically and mentally fit for recruitment by a medical officer from a Government Hospital before final selection
9. All prospective candidates must be individuals with good character and must not have been convicted of any criminal offence save road traffic offence
10. All prospective candidates must be free from any kind of financial insolvency or bankruptcy. Candidates will be required to download two (2) referee forms to be filled by two (2) persons of reputable standing in the society.
11. Successful candidates will be required to fill further vetting forms
12. All successful candidates will be subjected to random illicit drug use test throughout their service in the Agency
13. Only shortlisted applicants shall be invited for further examination and interview
14. Interested candidates are advised to sign up and apply on www.emplug.com.

Meanwhile, the Civil Defence, Fire, Immigration and Prisons Board (CDFIPB) has also announced the commencement of new recruitment exercise into the agency for interested Nigerians.
In a statement signed by the secretary to the CDFIPB, the applications are expected from suitably qualified candidates for full time appointments to fill existing vacancies positions in the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).
The agency also noted that the applications would be in six categories after highlighting the qualifications for the positions.
