Premier League giants Arsenal are hoping to end their 25 years trophy drought on the European continent.

The Gunners battle fellow London club Chelsea in the final of this season's Europa League championship at the Baku Olympic Stadium in Azerbaijan later this evening.

It is no more new that the north London club failed to qualify for the Champions League next season having finished outside of the top four on the EPL table.

However, their only chance of playing in the UEFA top tier competition will be to win the UEL title after proceedings this evening.

A win for Arsenal tonight will see them win their first European silverware since lifting the Cup Winners' Cup in 1994.

Despite Emery's backline conceding 50 goals in the Premier League last campaign, the duo of Aubameyang and Lacazette have also been responsible for not fewer than 50 goals.

The Spanish born tactician will also be hoping he can cap off his first season at the Emirates Stadium with a title.

He led his former side Sevilla to three consecutive Europa League titles before leaving the club for another, and his experience is expected to play a big part in the game.

Arsenal last lifted a piece of silverware in 2017 when they won their 13th FA Cup title - which make them the most successful in the history of the competition.
