Nigeria international Asisat Oshoala was in superb form for her club FC Barcelona on Wednesday evening, April 25, scoring a brace which powered her side to a 6-2 win over Sevilla.

Asisat Oshoala has been out for a month due to injury and made a return in Sunday's 1-0 win at Bayern Munich in the Women's Champions League.

Lieke Martens opened the scoring for the hosts after just 11 minutes and Oshoala scored twice in four minutes shortly after the half-hour mark to make the score 3-0.

Barcelona's win against Sevilla has now pilled the pressure on Atletico Madrid in the fight to win the Spanish La Liga title.

Despite being tied on 78 points, Barcelona lead by eight goals on goal difference, but Atletico Madrid have a game in hand against Tenerife.

Oshoala has been impressive since she joined Barcelona on loan and has now scored seven goals in eight games this season for her club.
