Every lady loves to be looked at as the only pretty woman in the world especially when it is the man after their own heart that does the looking. However, some men face dire consequences for not complimenting their partners.
A 20-year-old woman, Lizeth Guadalupe Ramirez, recently made headlines after she reportedly attacked her common-law husband for not telling her she looked pretty.
According to Laredo Morning Times, the police responded to a distress call on Tuesday, April 9, 2019, and Lizeth claimed that her husband had assaulted her and even tried to strangle her.
However, upon interrogating the husband, he explained that they had gone to see a movie when Lizeth asked him if she looked pretty. He added that he did not respond because he had not heard the question.
Lizeth was obviously not happy that she did not get a response and they had to leave the cinema. Her husband also added that on their ride home, she hit him repeatedly.
The physical assault allegedly continued even after they got home and a family member who tried to intervene also got pummelled by Lizeth.
It was also gathered that the 20-year-old woman has now been charged with domestic violence and two counts of assault.
In other news, Legit.ng reported that a Nigerian lady disclosed that she wants her bride price paid into her own account because she suffered alone in the relationship.
In the post, Chioma stated that her future husband should take note as she will like her bride price paid into her account as the family members who are traditionally nominated to receive it did not experience the problem in the relationship with her.
Her rather funny post has gone viral with most people agreeing that bride price should be paid to the bride and not some uncles and aunties who might or might have not played any role in the upbringing of the child.
