Breaking: PDP ex-national treasurer, Buhari Bala, 4 LG chairmen join APC in Kebbi
Alhaji Buhari Bala, the immediate past national treasurer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has on Wednesday, December 26, defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Bala who also donated a 53-suit office plaza and 11 cars to President Muhammadu Buhari and Governor Atiku Bagudu campaign organization left the PDP with four local government chairmen of the party.

Daily Trust reports that Bala who promised to work for the success of his new party in the forthcoming elections said he was convinced by the tremendous achievements of the APC-led governments both at the state and national levels.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had reported the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo on Wednesday, December 26, refuted reports allegedly made by the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) that it welcomed not less than 10,000 of its members in the Okitipupa local government area of the state.
The ruling party said that the PDP's claims further proves it be bent on peddling rumours, fake news and distorting facts in what it described as cheap propaganda.

Alex Kalejaye, the party’s state spokesman, stated: “The APC in Ondo State wishes to place on records that a fraction of those who followed Chief Olusola Oke to the party early this year actually returned to where they always belong. They were less than 50 in number.
