I am successfully single - Senator Dino Melaye
The Senator representing Kogi west senatorial district, Dino Melaye, has announced that he is successfully single.
Melaye in a recent interview with Bode Gbadebo said while his family is doing great, he is currently single.
The Senator was previously married to Tokunbo Melaye for ten years.
Tokunbo however, filed for divorce after allegation of domestic violence dispute where she claimed that he beat her up and pointed a gun to her head.

They had three children together.
Shortly after the debacle with Tokunbo, Melaye had a stint with Alero Falope who later moved out after about six months.
Speaking on his new life the Senator said: "My family is great, my family is wonderful. I love my kids to the moon. My kids are my friends. I have a wonderful family, a God-fearing family. And again, I’m successfully single."
He said he reads books to relax and also visits the gym occasionally to maintain a 'three packs' which he hopes to develop into a 'six packs'.

His favourite colours are white, blue, and red - in that order.
"I read books, I do a lot of exercise, I go to the gym. When time permits, I watch movies and I write a lot. I love to travel, I love to spend time on the mountain, I love to spend time by waterside, I listen to music and I play soccer.
Initially, some years ago I do not pay particular attention to what I eat but when I crossed 40, I started regulating my meals.

Now, I’m on special diet not because I’m sick but because I need to be healthy. So, I eat healthy things, I take more greens now, I take more of vegetables. In fact, I do little or no starch. Again, I stopped taking red meat, I do more of sea foods and fish. I’m quite particular now about my meals. It’s a little portion. I’m trying to work on my three packs now to become six packs," Melaye said.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that Melaye said that his spirit and resolve is unshakable in the face of challenges he was facing.
Melaye who has a case with the Nigeria police said llegal arrest and harassment by police in the country did not start now.
He also recalled that the court awarded 10 million naira damages to him following police harassment 10 years ago.
