Do not accept Saraki, R-APC members into PDP - Party chieftain cautions Secondus

The national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Uche Secondus, has been cautioned by the pioneer chairman of the party in Kwara state, Kunle Sulaiman, against welcoming Senate president Bukola Saraki, his loyalists and other members of the Reformed All Progressives Congress.

He gave the warning during a protest against the speculated return of Saraki and his loyalists to the PDP, by scores of women and youths of the party, Punch reports.

He stated: “By the special grace of God, if Bukola should contest for Senate in Kwara Central, no matter the political party, he will not return to that seat.

“We also know that the prostitutes, the political lepers, are at their game again. They are looking for where they hibernate and again destroy.

“We do not want them in our party because we do not want to be infected by their leprosy. Therefore, we are telling the whole world that the PDP, not only in Ilorin West, will not admit them."

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that the Concerned Members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Kwara state chapter, appealed to Senate president Bukola Saraki and his loyalists in the All Progressives Congress (APC), as well as minister of information, Lai Mohammed, to defect to the opposition party.

In a statement signed by Abdullahi Lateef, Moshood Issa, Danjumo Hamid, Olabode M. A. and Ayinde Wasiu, the group also urged the APC factional chairman, Kwara state chapter, Bashir Bolarinwa, to defect to the PDP.
