Ekiti 2018: I saw people praying, I said PDP may lose - Apostle Suleman reacts to failed prophecy (video)

The general overseer of the Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has reacted to one of his prophecies where he claimed he saw that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) would emerge winner of the just concluded Ekiti governorship election.

A reverse was, however, the case on Saturday, July 14, as the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Kayode Fayemi was declared the winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC) having defeated Olusola Eleka, the candidate of the PDP.

The APC candidate garnered 197,459 votes while Olusola polled 178,114 votes.

Reacting to the failed prophecy, Apostle Suleman posted a video on Twitter on Monday, July 16, explaining the reason behind the failure.

In the video, the cleric was quoted saying: “I gave a prophecy the other day about Ekiti state. And I said I saw PDP taking over.

“And I saw…recently I saw people praying. If the PDP in that state don’t take care, they may lose it. What I just saw…I saw people, as soon as the prophecy was given here, gathering people to pray.”

Though the video was just posted at 5.27am on Monday, July 16, Apostle Suleman claimed that the video was done weeks before the election.

"D uploaded video was 2wks before election..media,always get ur facts right..subscribe to our Tv channel.celebration Tv for real news," he tweeted.

Onochie described Suleman as “a pastor who is not in talking terms with God but who continues to lie with God's name.”
