Governor Nasir El-Rufai has tacitly reacted to the reported exit of Senators Suleiman Hunkuyi and Shehu Sani from the ruling APC.
The governor reacted with a powerful Quran quote laced with meanings and directed at the federal lawmakers.
The governor in a Facebook post titled Monday Wisdom wrote: “If good touches you, it distresses them; but if harm strikes you, they rejoice at it. And if you are patient and fear Allah, their plot will not harm you at all. Indeed, Allah is encompassing of what they do.” - Holy Quran - Surah Aali Imraan (3:120)

Governor El-Rufai also used the photos of the senators alongside the post.
Similarly, Governor El-Rufai on Friday, May 11, described the senators as cursed, adding that they are the enemies of the people of Kaduna state.
The governor in a Facebook post cited pages of the Quran when describing the senators as deceivers and hypocrites.
Reacting, Mr Hassan Hyat, chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state, lambasted Governor El-Rufai over his negative pronunciation against the senators.
