Meet amputee singer Marsha Elle and model who exudes confidence

A Haitian singer-songwriter Marsha Elle is a congenital amputee who has made it her life's mission to achieve her dreams despite her disability. The young singer was born a congenital amputee.

Congenital amputation is birth without a limb or limbs. It can also occur due to maternal exposure to teratogens (an agent that disturbs the development of a fetus) during pregnancy.

The singer uses a prosthetic leg (artificial leg) to walk and perform on stage. Despite her prosthetic leg, Elle made sure to become known and recognised for her talents in an industry where image is everything.

In an interview, she expressed that God used her music to save her life. She revealed that her music kept her in the right state of mind.

She said: "In a world where public image is everything, I had my doubts. God used music to save my life, it kept me in my right mind. God said 'if you are willing, I will use you, your gift will not go to waste'."

Elle realesed her first music at the age of 17. The hit single Hallelujah was a fusion of Caribbean Zouk and pop.

The talented singer was featured on MTV's 2016 Dream day special after she released her album Brave, which had two hit singles Beard and Unlimited.
