Legit.ng has come across a list of top African rappers shared by popular Nigerian rapper MI Abaga. The rapper had shared his list of top African rappers on Twitter in a chat.

The rapper had participated in a Twitter chat with emerging artists showcase page known as The Basement Gig.

In his response to question asked about his top African rappers, MI Abaga had mentioned Mode 9, Proverbs (of South Africa), Jesse Jaggz, Freestyle and Ghost as his all-time greatest African rappers.

MI Abaga also stated his list of five hottest African rappers right now include; Nasty C, Cassper Nyovest, Poe (of Mavin Records), Ghost and Khaligraph Jones (of Kenya).

MI Abaga who was born Jude Abaga on October 4, 1981 is a Nigerian hip hop recording artist and record producer. In 2015, he became the boss of record label Chocolate City.
