Lady shares experience of the N10,000 skirts she ordered online versus what she got

A beautiful Nigerian lady has taken to her social media handle to express her disappointment about an online vendor.

Lady identified as Amanda Chisom on Thursday, November 23, posted the picture of the skirts she ordered from an online vendor versus what was delivered to her. Her Facebook post reads: “What I ordered, what I got. Each skirt cost N10,000 and this is what I got.”

The picture which was reposted by one of her friends on Facebook, Opeoluwayemi disclosed that the lady lied about getting all her clothes from the United States.

The post reads: “Some years ago as a baby businessperson, I needed connections with wholesalers that could supply me wares and then I used know a lady who advertises with very beautiful pictures and models. I kept seeing her appealing adverts until one day, I summoned courage, approached her for her wholesale packages. Her prices were too good to be true and I jumped at the offers. She told me she is based in Ibadan but delivers Nationwide. She will deliver the wares directly to my doorstep at a cost. I remembered advertising on my WhatsApp and my supervisor back then had interest. She asked what country the wares were imported from and sizes and i got answers from this seller they are from USA. I made my first order and realized the labels were torn/removed. I sold a few but I was skeptical with the info she gave me majorly about the source. I made another order and this time around I did not hear from neither her nor her courier.

I called and called, but she wouldn't pick my calls nor returned them. She was reading my messages on WhatsApp and each time she tried picking the calls, I realized she was whispering like she was in a classroom. I remember she once told me she is a lawyer when I questioned her integrity and she wouldn't want to lose her license over mere clothes. Later she told me the delivery man is at law school AJAH and will get to me later in the day. I also spoke to the man and he told me he had to go to ISLAND first before coming. I was amazed and asked WHY the man will pass through Ikorodu road and wouldn't drop the package, but instead travel to AJAH first. Knowing the delivery location is my office and I'll close 5pm. All these got me confused and I had to send her threats. Before she responded.

The N10,000 skirts ordered

Eventually I got the clothes, rough, without labels and some funny tags. One was even NOT what she advertised and looked more like imitation. I later added one plus one together and realized she was a student at law school, has a sister or someone in Ibadan who makes clothes & makes replica of the ones she advertised. So when a customer places an order, she quickly makes them or supplies them the ones available (I also realized she delivers sizes I didn't request for). Then for some, she jumps into Balogun market in Lagos Island to quickly shop to deliver. I discovered this on one of my trips to the market that all these stuffs I always thought she imported from USA were China or even Aba made wears. Some of which were imitation of some turkey designers. While discussing with someone who had a similar experience, I then came to realize she or someone she knows SEWS the clothes and deliver nonsense. I still see her adverts in Facebook groups, no more clothes but real estates. Each time I see her & her adverts on Facebook, I just shake my head. See 10,000 skirt!!! People with dead conscience.”
