Chelsea star Tiemoue Bakayoko has been involved in a car crash which occurred while he was driving home from training today, Thursday, September 21.

The Sun reports that he was driving along Blundel Lane near the club's Cobham facility at around 3.30pm when the incident happened.

The 23-year-old was travelling towards Oxshott, Surrey, when the incident happened and it is understood he was the only one involved in the car crash.

Legit.ng understands that the police were called to the scene and the player's car was badly damaged.

The player's AMG Mercedes Benz is repairable.

However, Bakayoko did not suffer any injuries after the crash. The player might be unavailable for this weekend's clash with Stoke City.
