JUST IN: PDP founding members meet IBB

Some founding members of the Peoples Democratic Party and strategy committee led by Jerry Gana are in Minna to meet with former military head of state, Ibrahim Babangida, Leadership reports.

The meeting was on-going at the time of filing the report.

Recall that the PDP has been embroiled in a leadership tussle between two factions – the Senator Ali Modu Sheriff faction, led by the national chairman and the Ahmed Makarfi faction, led by the chairman of the Caretaker committee.
