The Blues drew Crystal Palace on the opening weekend and beat West Ham and Fulham on the following matchdays before the international break.

As noted by The Guardian, Ange Postecoglou returns to the Premier League with Nottingham Forest to replace Nuno Espirito Santo.

The Austro-Greek manager was sacked by Tottenham Hotspur at the end of last season after a 16th-place finish, despite winning the UEFA Europa League.

Forest will travel to the Emirates Stadium to face Arsenal, and Mikel Obi believes that it will not be a rosy return for Postecoglou in North London.

The Manchester derby at the Etihad Stadium is the biggest game of the weekend, and the former Super Eagles captain backs Pep Guardiola's side to triumph.

As noted by Transfermarkt, Guardiola has beaten Ruben Amorim once in five attempts, including losses to Sporting Lisbon and Manchester United last season.

Chelsea fans have been waiting anxiously for an update after Cole Palmer got injured during the warm-up ahead of the 5-1 win over West Ham at the London Stadium.

Palmer did not feature for England during the international break, but he could return this week after Enzo Maresca confirmed that he trained partially on Thursday.

“Cole took part in a session yesterday (Thursday) for the first time, but not the entire session,” Maresca told Chelsea TV during his pre-match conference.
“Today (Friday) in the afternoon, we have one more session, and we are going to try with him and see if he is ok. Otherwise, he will be out tomorrow again.”

The Blues have concerns over their South American contingent of Estevao Willian, João Pedro and Moises Caicedo, all of whom arrived late from long trips.
