On the other hand, Gunners finished in second place last season, 10 points behind league winners Liverpool. Arsenal also lost 3-1 on aggregate to reigning UEFA Champions League winner Paris Saint-Germain.
Arsenal are entering the match with three wins and two losses, while Manchester United got three draws and two wins.

Manchester United began rebuilding after their 2024/25 English Premier League season.
According to Sportmole, the Red Devils splashed £200 million on Matheus Cunha (Wolves), Bryan Mbuemo (Brentford), Benjamin Sesko (RB Leipzig), and Diego Leon.
On the other hand, Gunners signed Viktor Gyökeres (Sporting Lisbon), Noni Madueke (Chelsea), and Martín Zubimendi (Real Sociedad). Additionally, they signed Jurrien Timber, David Raya (loan), Cristhian Mosquera (Valencia), and Kepa (Chelsea), per Goal.
