Austin Jay Jay Okocha has named his five-a-side team with four strikers and one midfielder.
The Super Eagles legend had a professional career that spanned 18 years, the majority of which was in Europe, playing for top clubs in France, Germany, Turkey, and he became a cult hero in England.
The midfield maestro excelled in the senior national team, winning the 1994 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) and a gold medal at the Atlanta 1996 Olympic Games.

Former Super Eagles captain Austin Jay Jay Okocha has shared the pitch with some of the biggest names in African football, from the Nigeria U17 to the senior level.
In a viral video on TikTok, the 51-year-old was asked to pick his top 5 African players.
Okocha ignored his former teammates, including the former CAF Player of the Year Victor Osimhen and reigning CAF POTY Ademola Lookman.

5. Didier Drogba
The Ivorian legend Didier Drogba is regarded as one of the best strikers in Africa.
The 47-year-old won four English Premier League (EPL) titles, one UEFA Champions League title, and four FA Cups with Chelsea, per Sky Sports.
The former Galatasaray forward failed to lift the AFCON title twice despite entering the final in 2006 and 2012.

The former Super Eagles captain, Austin Jay Jay Okocha, played a pivotal role in Nigeria’s Africa Cup of Nations victory in 1994 with his leadership and technical brilliance, having featured in five AFCON tournaments.
The Bolton Wanderers midfielder was also a key member of Nigeria’s ‘Dream Team,’ which won a gold medal at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, featuring in three FIFA World Cups, per Olympic.

The Ghanaian legend Tony Yeboah is described as one of the prolific goal scorers in Africa, dominating from the early 80s to the early 2000s.
The 59-year-old won the Ghana Premier League on three occasions (1981, 1982, and 1983) before leading Asante Kotoko to win the Africa Cup of Champions Clubs.
The Kumasi-born forward took Europe by storm with his performance in Eintracht Frankfurt, where he scored 68 goals in 123 matches.
After 5 years, he moved to Leeds United, where he finished runner-up in the 1995/96 season, winning the Club's Player of the Year, per Ghana web.

2. Abedi Pele
The 60-year-old played for the Ghanaian senior national team for 16 years.
The AFCON winner enjoyed a career that spanned numerous countries and leagues, including France, Germany, and Qatar.
He made a huge mark during his playing days with Olympique Marseille, where he became a legend.
The Ghanaian won two Ligue 1 titles with Marseille (1990/91 and 1991/92), solidifying his reputation as one of the best African players in Europe, becoming the first Ghanaian to win the BBC award in 1992.

The Liberian legend George Weah can be described as the greatest African player. The former Liberian President scored 18 goals in 75 games for his country.
The 58-year-old broke into the limelight during his stint with Monaco in 1988, proceeding to win the Africa Footballer of the Year in 1989.
After dominating Monaco and PSG, Weah joined AC Milan, winning the Italian Serie A in 1995, the Africa Footballer of the Year, the BBC Footballer of the Year, and the Ballon d'Or, per 90MINS.

Odemwingie picks Okocha as top three dribblers
Legit.ng earlier reported that former Super Eagles forward, Peter Osaze Odemwingie, has hailed Austin Jay Okocha as among the best three dribblers of all time.
Odemwingie, who played alongside Okocha in the Super Eagles for several years starting from 2002 until the veteran midfielder retired from international football, spoke highly of the former Bolton midfielder’s skills.
