Frank Lampard who is the handler of Premier League side Chelsea has confirmed that the duo of Hakim Ziyech and Callum Hudson-Odoi will be out of action for two weeks each.

During the Blues' Premier League win over Leeds United, Ziyech sustained hamstring injury and the Morocco international is now recuperating.

Since joining Chelsea from Ajax, Hakim Ziyech has not really been impressive for the Stamford Bridge landlords and much is expected from him this term.

Before the Blues' Champions League game against Krasnodar, Hudson-Odoi also sustained hamstring in training which ruled him out of the encounter.

According to the report on UK Sun, these two players have been accessed by Chelsea's medical team, and Lampard is optimistic that they would return to training in two weeks.

“Both players are hopefully going to be out for around two weeks. They had scans yesterday and their injuries are showing that they will be about two weeks.
“With Callum we didn’t know what to expect. It was an injury he got in training a couple of days ago.”

Chelsea are currently occupying third position on the Premier League standings with 22 points after 11 games played so far this season.
