Juventus came from one goal down to beat stubborn Torino 2-1 in a tough Serie A encounter at the Allianz Stadium.

Nicolas N'Koulou powered the visitors ahead from close range just after nine minutes into the encounter in Turin.

The 30-year-old Cameroonian benefited from the hosts' poor clearance after firing a loose ball into the bottom right corner of the post under 10 minutes of action.

N'Koulou's early goal gave the away team the confidence they needed to pressurise their hosts as they made more attacking moves in search of more goals.

But their efforts for the remainder of the opening half failed to materialise and they went into the dressing room winning the first half.

However, they were unable to maintain their lead in the game as Juan Cuadrado leveled parity for the Old Lady in the 57th minute. But the VAR ruled it off for offside.

Weston McKennie eventually restored parity for the home team in the 78th minute through a thunder from the edge of the 18-yard.

The 22-year-old made made a run towards the ball after Juve's corner kick was nodded out by the cluster of players and then send the ball straight into the net.

And three minutes from time, Leonardo Bonucci gave Andrea Pirlo's men the lead for the first time in the game as they rise to second on the log with three points behind AC Milan who have one game in hand.

Meanwhile Cristiano Ronaldo failed to score all through the game despite staying on the pitch all for the entire 90 minutes.
