Breaking: INEC Staff, PDP Leader Arrested With Cash in Ogun

Some suspected staff of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Ogun state have been arrested by security operatives with a huge amount of money ahead of the bye-election in the state.

They were said to have been arrested along with a politician, who some people said was a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader and are accused of allegedly planning to buy votes in the election.

The Punch reported that the suspects were caught at a hotel in Iperu-Remo in the Ikenne local government area of the Southwest state on Saturday, August 16.

In a viral video, the officials of the electoral body, a man and a woman, were caught squatting while responding to questions from the security agents.
