"The way I do envy people who have a good, caring mother eehn. Omo I have not experienced motherly love, while growing up, I don't even know my mother," she said.
Rather than perform a happiness she does not feel, @mummy.lutfi explained why she steers clear of Mother's Day tributes entirely.
"I don't like pretending at all, that's why you won't see me celebrating Mother's Day, because what is that fake write up," she added.
Speaking Up to Protect Her Mental Health
What pushed her to share the video was not just the weight of old memories but something that happened recently.
She revealed that her mother had been speaking to her about attending a party just days before she posted the clip, a detail she found painful given the state of their relationship.
"My mother is contributing more damage to my mental health, just last week, this woman was still telling me about party ooo," she said, her frustration evident.
