The short clip, which circulated shortly after the earlier incident, appeared to show the officer seated in a vehicle alongside a woman and a baby.

An Instagram account identified as @northern_trends posted the video, and it quickly went viral on the social media app.

Recall that the naval officer had become a major topic of discussion following the earlier land dispute encounter with Minister Wike.

A confrontation had unfolded between Wike and Lt. Yerima, leader of forces deployed to block FCT officials from demolishing a disputed property.

The minister had demanded the officers produce documentation authorising their presence, emphasising that no individual, regardless of position or rank, is above the law.

Lieutenant Yerima responded that his team was acting on orders and claimed his superiors possessed the necessary land ownership documents.

Visibly enraged, Wike reprimanded the officers, asserting his authority as minister and condemning their behaviour as unacceptable impunity.

He accused the naval personnel of exploiting their uniforms to shield illicit structures and hinder legitimate government operations, stressing that officers should not intimidate officials performing their lawful duties.
