Following the candlelight procession in honour of Ifesinachi Onyekesi, popularly known as Fish Magnet, a Nigerian woman shared her thoughts on social media activist, Martins Vincent Otse, called VeryDarkMan, who led the team.

VDM stormed Anambra to show solidarity with the grieving community over the death of the young entrepreneur.

Fish Magnet was the only son of his parents, who was recently murdered in Awka, the Anambra State capital, by unknown persons.

His painful demise was remembered in Awka, Anambra State, as VDM mobilised hundreds of youths and marched the streets of the capital city, dressed in black, and chanting songs in honour of Fish Magnet.

Woman speaks on Fish Magnet's candelight procession

The woman stated that the crowd that joined VDM at Fish Magnet’s procession meant that the deceased was well loved.

In a video, she said:

“VDM is still at Anambra at the candlelight movement for our late brother Fish Magnet, Make una see the crowd wey him carry join body. This ratel family is huge. Can you imagine how many people commot for our late brother Fish Magnet? May his perfect sould rest in peace because when one goes, e mean say e dey touch everybody. See public. This is much love. The love is massive.”

Following the candlelight procession, Fish Magnet's management extended its appreciation to VDM, Lord Zeus, the police, and other key actors in the event.

It partly said:

"We appreciate the outpouring of love from the general public. Special thanks to VDM, Lord Zeus, the Nigerian police, our entire guests, friends and well-wishers who played a role to honor Fish Magnet. We are uplifted by your support and right now we're focused on making sure the legacy of Fish Magnet lives on."

The management also spoke on the resumption of Fish Magnet's business after his demise.
