Hon Akinola Adekunle Alabi, the lawmaker representing Egbeda Federal Constituency in the house of representatives said it is extreme sport to support Manchester United.
The a two-term serving lawmaker said the situation is not different from supporting Shooting Stars of Ibadan and Super Eagles.

Alabi stated this after Manchester City defeated Manchester United 3-0 at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday, September 14, 2025.
