Daniel, who represents the Ogun East Senatorial District, stressed that the purported plan to rejoin PDP is untrue.
“For the avoidance of doubt, Senator Gbenga Daniel is and remains a member of the All Progressives Congress, APC, a Senator and remains on the platform of the APC,” the statement read.
He assured party members and the public of his continued dedication to APC’s ideals and objectives.
PDP tackles APC ahead of 2027
Previously, Legit.ng reported that the All Progressives Congress (APC) has dismissed claims by governors elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) that the ruling party is heading for defeat in 2027.
In a statement issued on Monday, Felix Morka, APC publicity secretary, said the PDP governors are “projecting their own doomed fate” while attempting to “mislead” Nigerians.
Recall that the PDP governors had met in Zamfara on August 23 and disclosed that the APC was a party without vision or direction, and one that faces imminent rejection in the next general election.
