KWAM1's Apology: NCAA Mentions 2 People Who Will Determine Fate of Fuji Musician

The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has disclosed that the popular fuji musician, Wasiu Ayinde, popularly known as K1 De Ultimate or KWAM 1, following the altercation between him and some officials of ValueJet on Tuesday, August 5.
According to the NCAA, the fate of the Fuji musician would be determined by the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) and the Inspector General of Police (IGP) because the petitions against KWAM 1 have been submitted to them.

NCAA speaks on KWAM 1's apology
Michael Achimugu, the spokesperson of the NCAA, disclosed this in an interview on Saturday, August 9, while speaking on the public apology of the Fuji musician following that controversial face-off with the ValueJet officials at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.
In a statement he personally signed on Friday, August 8, KWAM 1 lamented the situation and described it as "unfortunate", stating that he never had the intention of causing any disruption or violating the protocols of the aviation industry in any way.
The Punch reported that the Fuji musician was about to board the ValueJet flight from Abuja to Lagos when the incident happened.
The musician reportedly attempted to fly with a liquid substance, which was resisted by the aviation security. The ValueJet pilots then got angry and departed for Lagos. The pilots have been suspended for violating aviation protocols, while the musician has been blacklisted.

What happened between KWAM 1, ValuJet
According to a detailed incident report filed by Captain Ranti, the pilot in command of ValueJet Flight VK201 to Lagos, the drama began when Kwam 1 approached the aircraft holding a gold flask.
As is standard practice, ground personnel were requested to inspect the flask to confirm its content. But the singer allegedly refused, insisting they had no right to question him.
Captain Ranti said he stepped out of the cockpit in an attempt to de-escalate the tension and personally engage the singer.
The pilot’s report stated that security officials intervened immediately, and Kwam 1 was barred from boarding. He was escorted away by the airport’s AVSEC crime unit for questioning.
The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) confirmed the incident and condemned the breach of aviation safety, noting that Kwam 1 disrupted boarding procedures and refused to leave the aircraft vicinity, even after repeated requests.

Also, the airline, ValueJet, is said to be considering legal action against the singer over the disruption, which forced delays and led to the suspension of two pilots pending investigation.

FG to discipline airline that flies KWAM1
Legit.ng earlier reported that Festus Keyamo, the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, reiterated the government ban on popular Fuji musician, KWAM 1.
The minister, in a statement on Thursday, August 7, warned that local and international airline that flies the musician would be banned.
KWAM 1 reportedly attempted to fly with a liquid substance, which was resisted by the aviation security.
