After Three Public Events in One Day, Osinbajo’s Aide Says VP’s Busy Day Only Typical

FCT, Abuja - Laolu Akande, the spokesman of Vice President Professor Yemi Osinbajo, SAN has revealed how his boss juggled between three events and several meetings on Thursday, October 21.

Writing on his Instagram page, Akande revealed that such schedules are regular for the vice president on a typical day.

He wrote:

“Busy day for the Vice President, but also very typical and reflective of his unrelenting quest to deal with the issues and commitment to rallying people towards the attainment of 'the greatest good to the greatest number.

“So the vice president started the day with the president chairing a security briefing from the Service Chiefs, then he spoke at the 6th anniversary of the Future Assured programme of the First Lady.
“Later, he speaks again at the public presentation of former Senate President Ken Nnamani's book, "Standing Strong." Afterward, he returns to his office for a series of meetings on several issues.
“Ask me next time how some of us cope catching up with the hardworking vice president! That is another story!!”

Similarly, a few weeks ago, the official photographer of the vice president, Tolani Alli, explained the priorities of her principal using a photograph of Osinbajo working on his computer and the items captured in the picture.

She wrote on her Instagram page:

“In the end, what defines a man are his allegiances, where his commitments find home. Here, it appears those of Professor Yemi Osinbajo sync in light;

2023: Northern Youth Group Vows to Mobilise 20 Million Votes for Osinbajo

Meanwhile, a northern youth group, Osinbajo Awareness Campaign (OAC), has launched a campaign to galvanise support for the vice president ahead of the 2023 presidential election.

The group recently unveiled a platform to mobilise 20 million youths across the 19 northern states and Federal Capital Territory in solidarity with Osinbajo.

Speaking at the launch of its Kano secretariat and campaign vehicles on Sunday, October 17, the national coordinator of the group, Mubarak Haruna declared that Nigeria needs a highly patriotic and genuinely detribalised leader like Osinbajo who can drive the country to greater heights.
