Nigerian singer Divine Ikubor, better known as Rema, and Apala singer Alhaji Wasiu Haruna Ishola recently met at a car dealership, and a video of their encounter surfaced online.
In the clip, the music star, who was in Benin a few months ago for his homecoming concert, is seen standing when introduced to the elderly Apala singer.

Wasiu Haruna Ishola was seated when he met Rema. He shook the young music star's hand and eventually stood up to greet him properly.
Rema, in turn, bent slightly to greet Ishola after shaking his hand. The two exchanged pleasantries and later recorded a video together before leaving the car dealership.

In the collage, the two talented singers posed for pictures. The Apala singer held one of his phones to his ear while taking a photo, with Rema standing beside him.
Rema clasped his hands together as a sign of respect to the elderly singer before they departed. He continued talking with the car dealer that both he and Wasiu Haruna Ishola had come to see at the office.

Reacting to the video, fans of both singers speculated that the two might be planning a collaboration. They noted that while Fuji music had been largely abandoned by young singers in the past, they are now embracing it.
Some fans commented that Rema should have prostrated to greet the Apala singer since he was introduced to him, as the elderly singer was old enough to be his father, regardless of his success in the music industry.
