Apostle Kassy Kelechi Chukwu, the General Overseer of Peniel Global Ministries and Senior Special Assistant on Digital Media to Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, has responded to the criticism he faced on social media regarding his support for President Tinubu's second return to office.

In a video that surfaced online on Wednesday, April 1, Apostle Kassy, during a church service, addressed his congregants on his reason for dumping Obi for Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The cleric, who claimed Obi had lied to him, stated that he felt betrayed by the former Anambra governor, who joined Atiku Abubakar in the opposition party, the African Democratic Congress (ADC), for 2027 after previously criticising such figures.

According to Apostle Kassy, this prompted him to switch allegiance to Tinubu.
