Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Tiwa Savage has stated that she has been celibate for the past three years.
Savage disclosed that she has been celibate since her previous relationship ended three years ago.

According to her, she only feels the need for intimacy when she is in love. The music star revealed this in a recent interview with The Breakfast Club.
“I have gone three years without sex. It is not something I really like or am crazy about. I have to be in love to have the urge for sex. I have to be with someone for me to even think about it.
“I don’t even have sex toys. Maybe I need to. Maybe, people need to get me toys for my Christmas presents,” she expressed.

In a recent interview with American radio station Hot 97, the award-winning singer addressed the criticism that followed the incident.
The mum of one highlighted the accusations that she orchestrated the incident for promotional purposes.
“I was bashed for my sex video,” she said during the interview. “A lot of people think I was just trying to get sympathy. Even people with platforms were quite horrible and blamed me.”
Savage expressed disbelief over the public's reaction, particularly the lack of empathy.
“I don’t know how they couldn’t see me as the victim in this,” she added. “They said I did it to be relevant. If I were doing that, I would’ve been intentional about it. I would have used better lighting, lingerie, and my facial expressions would have been on point.”

The netizen had dropped a comment on Instagram where he firmly stated that Tiwa Savage wasn't as beautiful as she often appeared on social media.
Responding, Tiwa Savage, unfazed by the comment, noted that she is even prettier in real life. She averred that he is simply pained over his inability to meet her in person, adding that he would never get the opportunity.
