Controversial actor Uche Maduagwu has caused a stir on social media with his apology video to influencer and upcoming actress, May Edochie.

In a video he recently shared on his official Instagram page, Maduagwu, who pleaded for mercy, said he was sorry for every unpleasant remark he made about May.

Describing May as a good woman, Maduagwu wrote in the caption:

"Every negative thing I've said about you, I'm sorry. You have gone through a lot, but it's just the grace of God that keeps lifting you up, and making you shine all over the world. I will keep apologizing every day, every week because you don't deserve all the negative things I said about you. I don't care if anyone is not happy about my apology."

Uche Maduagwu regrets hosting Yinka Theisen

The Nollywood actor also expressed regret for giving Linc Edochie's former partner, Yinka Theisen, his platform to talk about May.

Legit.ng recalls reporting that Uche hosted Yinka on a live session during her social media drama with May, Linc, and the Edochie family.

He also debunked the allegations that he was paid in dollars to host her.

"I challenge Yinka to bring out evidence or receipts that she ever paid me any dollars. Yes, a lot of you are shocked, Abi? I've been seeing comments that Yinka paid me this and that, well, I never collected one Naira. In fact, I initially gave her a platform when I thought Linc treated her badly until I later found out the gospel truth," he wrote in part.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that May Edochie's former lawyer, Emeka Ugwuonye, broke his silence following the cease-and-desist letter she issued against him

Reacting to the legal moves against him, Ugwuonye, in a series of posts via his Facebook page, expressed pity for May Edochie as he queried who was putting her through the mess.

Ugwuonye disclosed that after receiving the corrected letter from the lawyer, he realised May hadn’t actually sued him, as opposed to the rumours on social media.
