Abibat Saka, better known as Aunty Abiba, a content creator and close associate of the late Nigerian skit maker and content creator Raji Samad Adetola, aka Sanku, has broken her silence following viral reports of his death.

Legit.ng reported on Monday, September 1, that Sanku was involved in a ghastly car accident. The news quickly spread, with pictures and videos showing that the vehicle crashed into a ditch trending on social media.

Hours later, reports emerged that the accident had claimed Sanku's life. The skit maker, who was in the car with his friend, was rushed to the hospital but was later pronounced dead.

Late Sanku's associate speaks up

Aunty Abiba, who made videos with Sanku, confirmed his death as she mourned him on her page.

The content creator shared pictures of Sanku and her on her page, adding a caption that read, "Rest in peace Samad."

She also shared a moving clip of her crying and added a caption that read,

"Few months to the end of the year! May we not lose any of our loved ones."

The skit maker had shared the video showing him and a colleague grooving to a song, some hours before he was involved in a road accident.
