Many, she said, are left in hospitals without long-term medical support, as the company allegedly abandons bills after a short period.

She accused the company of showing more concern for its reputation than for the lives affected by its operations.

Calling on Nigerian lawyers and law firms, Ogbeide passionately advocated for a class action lawsuit against the Dangote Group.

She offered to personally fund television appearances and media outreach to mobilise victims and raise awareness.

She made it clear that her goal is to unite at least 100 victims to build a strong legal case that could either push the company to settle or face court proceedings.
