Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson has celebrated fellow WWE legend 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin as he turns 57 years old.

The two had one of the biggest rivalries in WWE history but appear to be friends away from the ring.

On Sunday, December 18, Dwayne shared videos on Instagram, with the first being of Steve showing his famous boxing ring entrance where he pops two cans of beer and drinks them dramatically.

The second clip was of the two during their wrestling days as they gave fans one of the biggest matches ever in WWE.

The actor wished him a happy birthday, noting Steve was his greatest rival and friend, adding it was hard to explain the hell they raised together around the world.

"Happy Birthday to my all-time greatest rivalry and friend from our wild and groundbreaking days in the business that’ll forever be in our blood ~ pro wrestling. It’s hard to explain how much HELL we raised together, in arenas and stadiums all around the world," he wrote.

Dwayne noted some of the things they did, including showing respect and bleeding on the ring, adding it was so much fun and satisfying because the fans loved it.

He also thanked Steve for "the house" and a partnership that led to the biggest box office draw in pro wrestling history.
