Shad Moss popularly known as Bow wow aka lil Bow wow has decided to drop his nick name Bow wow .

He gave his reasons as maturity and being a dad led him to the decision. He said he would drop it after the BET awards.

Bow wow was discovered by great produce Jermaine dupree and given the nick name when he was very young by Snoop Dogg then known as Snoop Doggy Dogg.

He has had numerous number one hits and has collaborated with the biggest stars of his genre, He has also run into financial problems, making him take the job at BET as the anchor/host of their popular teen music show, 106 and parks.
