Woman Dies After Husband Pushes Her Out Of A Moving Car

A 40-year-old man has been arrested and detained by the Ghana Police for allegedly killing his 30-year-old wife, Josephine Amankwah.

The suspect, Kwame Owusu was was said to have pushed his wife from a moving car, while dragging her on the ground at Dadiesoaba, near Goaso but unfortunately was said to have died on reaching the hospital.

The deceased popularly called Yaa Baby who was reported to have had a quarell with the husband after she spotted him with another woman in his vehicle in the town, confronted her husband demanding him for GH¢1,000 she once borrowed from her mother to take care of him when he was sick.

Apparently the couple who have an 18-month-old child were having marital issues before the incident occurred.

A sister to the deceased, Esther Amankwaah who confirmed the incident to Daily guide, said Ahinkan ignored her sister and drove away while she was hanging on the door for about 400 metres and later pushed her to the ground, killing her instantly.

She said the deceased, whose remains had since been deposited at the Goaso Government Hospital, suffered severe head injury and bruises on her legs.
