Singer Sean Tizzle has aired his feelings on the current wave-making single from Adele saying he prefers the version from Omawumi.

Sean Tizzle  went on Twitter to express displeasure that Adele was enjoying more buzz than Nigerian singer Omawumi, who had done a better version of the British singer's Hello without enjoying that much acclaim.

He went on to ask for more support for Nigerian artistes.

He said: “[Africans] don’t see the bigger picture… [and are] always so quick 2 judge & react.”

The 27-year-old British singer released Hello on October 23 and it has since garnered huge momentum around the globe as well as enjoyed critical acclaim.

It was recorded at the Metropolis Studios, London and is currently her second number one song in the UK. The song has also peaked at number one in at least 25 other countries around the world.

The song set major records with at least 27.7 million views on Vevo within 24 hours. By virtue of this, it beat Taylor Swift’s Bad Blood which had previously enjoyed a record breaking 20.1 million views in 24 hours on Vevo.
