TRAGIC: You Need To Read What Police Stray Bullet Does To This Pregnant Woman In Ibadan

Pandemonium broke out at the Soka area of Ibadan, Oyo State, western Nigeria on Tuesday when a policeman, keeping watch over the ritualist’s den discovered in Ibadan recently, allegedly shot a pregnant woman.

A motorcyclist was also said to be killed by the bullets, claimed to be stray.

It was gathered that trouble started when some youths in the area who claimed to have received a text message from one of the ritualist’s victims who said he was still in the forest, attempted to go into the area which was being guarded by the police.

In an attempt to disperse the youths who were becoming uncontrollable, the police were said to have fired gunshots in the air and the stray bullets killed the duo.

Some of the youths were said to have gone naked to protest the killing of one of them and the death of the woman and as the atmosphere in the area became tense, some people around scampered for safety.

Oyo State Governor Abiola Ajimobi, who was visiting the den 72 hours after Saturday’s discovery, ran into the protesters who tried to prevent his convoy from moving by dragging one of the corpses in front of one of the cars.

Following their inability to stop the convoy, the irate youths were said to have pelted cars in the convoy with stones before the governor left the scene.

When contacted for comments on the incident, the state police commissioner declined comments, saying the reporter was there and witnessed everything so there was nothing to add.
