Skiibii Does Not Know How Death Report Started + 12 Other Facts About The Incident
Embattled upcoming singer, Skiibii granted an exclusive interview yesterday, August 19, at a contemporary Lagos radio station and he cleared up the entire allegations surrounding his rumored death last week.

Skiibii, alongside label mates HarrySongz and KCee, spoke to Cool FM’s DO2DTUN in the course of the interview.
The fledgling singer has had a bit of a rough time in the last few days as he struggles to clear his name on the rumored story of his having passed on, as well as the accompanied image that supposedly lent credence to the report.
At the end of the day, we learn that Skiibii never really ‘died’.

i. It’s been a trying period for the young man in the last few days, and it’s been hard for him to express himself because of the whole misconception. ‘He might not be as audible as you expect him to be because he’s been crying,’ OAP Dotun says.

ii. KCee was not around when everything happened. He was away in Europe. He was first at Norway, then to Sweden, Denmark, Switzerland and the UK.
iii. Skiibii has a condition that can be best described as a fainting fit. He blacks out whenever he’s so stressed or excited, a doctor’s report allegedly says. KCee, HarrySongz and the 5Star Music management are aware because this has happened a few times now.
iv. The picture of him being ‘dead’ that’s flying around was taken by an ‘unknown person’ in South Africa, KCee claims in the exclusive. The ‘Limpopo’ singer says he identifies the outfit and background in the image, as they had all been out performing and partying in South Africa a few weeks ago.
v. They had reportedly lodged at The Capital 20 West Hotel after the Mandela event weeks ago in South Africa.
vi. KCee got back into the country yesterday, August 19, and he isn’t satisfied with the medical reports and the fact that the condition leading to the ‘black outs’ still isn’t specific. The singer says Skiibii’s health had been taken for granted previously and he wants to right the wrongs as far as the situation is concerned.
vii. Skiibii was truly at the hospital. HipTV crew was there and recorded a footage with a doctor’s confirmation of the incident. KCee reportedly pleaded with them not to air the recording.
viii. Skiibii was at the hospital for four days – Friday, August 14 to Monday, August, 17.

Some 39 weeks ago, Skiibii allegedly put up a post on Instagram saying ‘Nobody cares about you till you are dead.…’ But as far as the Instagram post says and Skiibii’s recent attack, KCee says everything was a coincidence. The upcoming singer was putting a pair of joggers the day he supposedly had the black out, and not what was in the circulated image.
x. It was actually confirmed to Linda, by 5 Star’s music manager, that the young man passed. After which she published. But in a new twist, KCee says the manager (Soso Soberiko0 was with him all the while as they were abroad on tour.
xi. When news broke out of the death, Skiibii’s brothers and his goons put several calls across to HarrySongz threatening him and all that. But KCee says nobody ever came through and showed appreciation when the lad was signed, presented with a car and taken abroad on several occasions. But they rode in the car. KCee recounts that only Skiibii’s father and step-mom had called to express gratitude the whole period after the signing.
xii. KCee cancelled tours in the UK and Switzerland to come back and clear the air. As a result of this and more, the Label manager Soso Soberiko has been sent off the label
