Mikel Obi's Agent Reveals His Next Club

John Mikel Obi's time at Chelsea seems to be up. His manager, Jose Mourinho has repeatedly said that he is interested in buying one more midfielder to add more spine to his team and the most obvious casualty is 28 year old Mikel Obi.   

The Super Eagles midfielder was used sparingly during  the past season and even when other midfielders were absent through suspension and injuries,  Jose Mourinho trusted youngsters like Reuben Loftus-Cheek and Nathaniel Ake.

According to the Express UK, Chelsea are yet to agree a fee with an certain outfit for the midfielder's transfer, only time will tell when Mikel will join Xavi Hernandez and Asamoah Gyan in the middle east.

Meanwhile African football reports that Mikel has agreed to sign for Al Ain having agreed personal terms.

The anchorman's agent  agent Babawo Mohammed was reported to have said: "It is now left for Chelsea and the Dubai club Al Ain to agree on a transfer fee."

Meanwhile the Metro UK reports that, Turkish giants’, Fenerbache have sent their sporting director Giuliano Terraneo to London to discuss a potential move with his agent.

Though it is believed talks have stalled and Chelsea will accept a $12m offer from Al Ain for his Mikel's transfer.

In nine years at Chelsea, Mikel has played 224 games for the club, scoring six goals. The midfielder was named the second best player in Africa by CAF in 2014 forhis fine performances for both club and country.

He has earned two premier league titles, four FA cup titles, two league cups, one community shield, one champions league and one Europa league title.
