Bakare's Collapse: Church Releases Statement
Earlier yesterday, General Overseer of the Latter Rain Assembly, Pastor Tunde Bakare collapsed while delivering a lecture in Lagos State.
The father of five was taken to the Reddington Hospital, Lagos, according to reports.
His office, The Latter Rain Assembly, has released an official press statement to assure his followers that the Pastor is currently hale and hearty.

Below was statement released by the Executive Council of The Latter Rain Assembly:
Thank you all for your outpouring of affection and concern through calls, messages, and prayers. Please be assured that Pastor 'Tunde Bakare is hale, hearty and in good spirits, though in need of rest.
We therefore ask everyone to please remain calm and give him the space and time to fully recuperate over the next few days. Thank you all once again.
Pastor Bakare was the running mate of President-elect Muhammadu Buhari in 2011 presidential polls.
He and Buhari on the platform of the defunct Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) ran for Presidency in 2011 but lost to President Jonathan of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
