Buhari Supporter To Trek From Maiduguri To Abuja

Another man has announced his intention to walk from Maiduguri to Abuja to honour the president-elect, Muhammudu Buhari. 

The 45-year-old Adamu Abdullahi, according to Linda Ikeji, says he will be trekking from Maiduguri in Borno state to Abuja from tomorrow, April 30.

Linda Ikeji, who cites KSM News, says the man's intention is to meet with Gen Buhari to congratulate him on his victory at the presidential elections.

Married with 4 children, Adamu says he will be leaving Maiduguri by 6am tomorrow and will depart from Jimtilo park.

He asked all Borno state natives to forward their petitions to him so he can forward them to Gen. Buhari.

Since the victory of Buhari at the poll in March 28, various people have decided to honour him by walking. First, it was Suleiman Hashimu, who walked from Lagos to Abuja to honour the president-elect.

Another person, Abubakar Duduwale, is on his way from Yola to Abuja to express his joy and solidarity with the president-elect.

Another supporter, Mohammed Kabiru Jafaru, meanwhile took a different route opting to congratulate the vice president elect, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, by riding his bicycle from Kaduna to Lagos state.
