Ugandan Nanny Pleads Guilty To Brutally Beating Toddler

An Ugandan maid appealed guilty Monday, December 8th, to torture of a toddler, a case that has shocked world after a video of her abusing the baby was made public.

The 22-year old maid, Jolly Tumuhiirwe, who was not represented by a lawyer in court, now faces up to 15 years in prison for the crime or a fine of about $400 (£260) or both.

Recently Ms Tumuhirwe asked the world, the parents to forgive her.

The cruelty of the nanny was disclosed after father of little girl had discovered bruises on his daughter and viewed the video from security cameras in the family home. Immediately after that the furious father has beaten Tumuhiirwe.
