Ebola: Ghana Aims To Crack Down on Deadly Virus
Ghana is now on red alert in a move to try and control the ravaging and deadly Ebola virus from gaining more ground in the West African state.
In a statement from the Ghanian Ministry of Health have revealed that fishermen who work on the ghanian coastal borders have shown signs of having EVD.
The statement continues and advises Ghanians to get hold of hand sanitizers and use them frequently.
Ghana have quarantined three individuals at their Nsawam Government hospital in Eastern Ghana after they showed up with symptoms of the virus.
Meanwhile health officials have tested a 16-year old girl, a 56-year old man and a 53-year old man; all Ghanaian.
If the cases come back positive, they would be sent to another quarantined area and treated with the necessary drugs.
Meanwhile in Northern Ghana, a Burkinabe has been admitted in a health facility in Bawku in the Upper East Region with signs reminiscent of an ebola attack.
West Africa is suffering from the recent Ebola outbreak which has spread from Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea to Nigeria and now Ghana and maybe Burkina Faso.
Over 900 people have died to the Virus according to the World Health Organization.
